Understand our terms and conditions for submitting an abstract

By submitting an abstract to Greenhouse Gas Technologies Conference (GHGT) (“the Conference”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
- Abstracts must be submitted by the presenting author or a designated corresponding author.
- The submitting author confirms that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the abstract prior to submission.
2. Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts must be submitted via the official submission system by the stated deadline.
- Submissions that do not comply with the formatting requirements or exceed the word limit may be rejected.
- All abstracts must be written in English and be free of typographical and grammatical errors.
3. Originality and Responsibility
- The submitting author warrants that the work is original and does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Any use of third-party material (e.g., figures, tables, images) must have appropriate permissions.
- The authors are solely responsible for the accuracy of the content, including data, names, and affiliations.
4. Review and Selection
- All abstracts will be reviewed by the Expert Reviewers and the Technical Programme Committee (TPC).
- The TPC reserves the right to accept, reject, or reassign abstracts to a different presentation format (Oral or E-poster).
- Decisions of the TPC are final and not subject to appeal.
5. Presentation and Registration
- Acceptance of an abstract does not constitute free or automatic registration for the Conference.
- At least one author must register and attend the Conference in person to present the accepted abstract.
- Failure to register by the specified deadline may result in withdrawal of the abstract from the program.
6. Publication and Use of Content
- By submitting an abstract, authors grant the Conference organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, reproduce, distribute, and display the abstract in electronic or printed conference materials, proceedings, or promotional materials.
- Abstracts may be edited for formatting or minor corrections without prior approval.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
- Personal information collected during the submission process will be used for the purposes of reviewing, organizing, and communicating about the Conference.
- Data will be handled in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act (2018).
8. Code of Conduct
- All authors and presenters must comply with the Conference Code of Conduct.
- Misrepresentation of data, plagiarism, or unethical research practices will result in rejection or withdrawal of the abstract.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of England and Wales.
