Switzerland welcomes you to 13th Conference on Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies (GHGT), the long-running global international conference series on Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies. The conference will be held from 14 to 18 November 2016. GHGT is under the stewardship of the IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme (IEAGHG), an international collaborative research programme established in 1991 under the International Energy Agency (IEA).
We are delighted to invite you to the hosting venue, the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). EPFL has an outstanding international research and education network, dedicates its resources and strategic position to the field of sustainable development in general and to greenhouse gas control technologies in particular. The city of Lausanne is at the forefront of establishing itself as a center for sustainable energy technologies.
As a principal sponsor, the The Federal Government of Switzerland and its Swiss Federal Office of Energy SFOE welcomes you to participate in this successful conference series.
For this strategically important conference we have the support of the federal administration, representatives of industry and representatives from various institutes of the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology such as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and the Paul Scherrer Institute.
The strong scientific and leading position of Switzerland in the Cleantech sector of the economy, and in particular of the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in the areas of combustion research, energy aspects of industrial processes makes and CO2 sequestration make Lausanne and Switzerland an ideal location to host the 13th in a series of conferences on greenhouse gas control technologies.
We welcome you, once again, to Switzerland and are looking forward to another successful GHGT conference!
